🇪🇸 In Spain, [por favor] is polite but not always needed in every tiny interaction. People often keep the tone friendly with [hola] and [gracias] rather than sounding extra formal.

🇪🇸 [De nada] is standard, but in Spain you'll also often hear [nada] or [no hay de qué]. All are normal casual replies to thanks.

🇪🇸 [Perdón] works both for getting someone's attention and for a small apology, like bumping into someone. For a more serious apology, people are more likely to use [lo siento].

🇪🇸 [Lo siento] is for actual apologies or bad news, not usually for squeezing past someone or catching a waiter's attention. In those quick everyday moments, [perdón] sounds more natural in Spain.

💬 The ending changes to match the noun: [cuánto dinero], [cuánta agua], [cuántos euros], [cuántas personas]. Use the singular forms for uncountable things and the plural forms for countable ones.

💬 [Ayúdame] is one word: [ayuda] + [me]. You can swap that ending with other people too, like [ayúdalo] for 'help him' or [ayúdame] for 'help me'.
